Marsannay-la-Côte : "  A stroll through its history "

  The "Maison du Patrimoine et du Tourisme" - "House of Cultural Heritage and Tourism" - location of the Tourist Office, shows, through its display of some particularly significant objects, the life of the traditional rural society. You will find three themes there :

   Objects of the everyday life end 19 th-beginning 20th century
Display case of objects found on Marsannay land:
Burial stele from the II century.
Board with photos showing acts of donation or title deed documents…

   Outstanding personalities from the community.


Jean Bart

LOUIS GAITET
Painter (notably the famous "Pas d'armes de 1443", painting based on the writings of Olivier de la Marche).
HENRI PRUDENT
Painter of traditional scenes, he offers us a glimpse of the costumes of Burgundy.
MICHEL RATINET
Amateur archaeologist and ethnologist, he left us a magnificent collection from his excavations.
JEAN BART
Former Mayor of Marsannay-la-Côte (1945-1953)
Local poet and writer, he has probably safeguarded, through his works, the local wine growers' memories.
