With Belgium: the twinning Mazy - Marsannay-la-Côte was celebrated in 1958.
Since 1971 meetings have taken place every two years.
These visits are the occasion for sharing festivities, and cultural and culinary exchanges. Friendships between French and Belgian citizens continue spontaneously outside the official sister city events for all types of occasion.
MAZY, a town of about 850 inhabitants attached to GEMBLOUX, is situated 15 km from Namur, close to Waterloo and… numerous abbeys which produce excellent beer and cheese!

SCHWEICH (Germany)

With Germany: it is in the same spirit of developing friendship bonds and exchanges in numerous areas that the twinning between Marsannay-la-Côte and Schweich/Mosel was put in place. The exchange between these two wine-producing communities with a similar number of inhabitants was made official by an agreement signed the 3 May 1992 in SCHWEICH.
Wine-producing village, SCWEICH/ MOSEL is situated 15 km to the north-east of TREVES, on the right bank of the Moselle river.

The community forest benefits from a policy of constant maintenance, carried out through a process of felling and replanting.

- installation of equipped picnic areas, opening of tourist trails for hiking or nature discovery, in co-operation with the
